During the presentation day, each group give a full commitment and doing well in their presentation. This is because the mark will be taken from this PBL. For me, global warming is a good topic compared to the previous topics; unemployed graduates and racial integration. This topic is about global issues and everyone that lived on the Earth should take seriously about this problem. Based on the reading in newspaper and internet, people will feel scared and worried about this problem, but how many of us will take a proper steps to overcome this problem? Honestly,I also practised 3R (reuse, reduce, recycle) in my college and home, but it is enough to save our Earth? From the presentation, I realize that there are a lot of ways that we can practised to slow down the global warming. For example, using fan instead of air-conditioner, switch off the lamp and fan when not in used and preferred the biodegrable detergent. I also knew some new facts about the global warming; methane (CH4) is a greenhouse gas that remains in the atmosphere for approxiamately 9-15 years. Human influenced sources include landfills, mobile combustion, agricultural activities and certain industrial process. This PBL is not only for the task in the class, but it also teach us how we save our Earth. We can realized that we have our own responsibilities to take care of our Earth.

GLObal Warming!!!

alhamdulillah, first section is already finished...maybe, its look quite diffrent rather than before this because this topic is very hot to be discuss.. we are already realized that our earth now become more worst and the temperature also not stable.. the best thing is prevention and think what is tthe best way. it is true what people said that " prevention is better than cure".. so that, our group make a good things with find the best solution that we can practice in our daily life so that people are not feel burden at the same time we can slowly solve this serious problem.. nevertheless, we as student or people that have know about this problem can seprate and inform people in outside, so far we can together make it better. we mist think wkat we can do to the aerth and do not ask what earth do to us..we supposed to make 3R.. that is reuse what can we recycle it back and reduce the uses of thin.. plastic are the major produt that give big impact. the good example is in penang, the shopping mall had launched a uses of paper bag and prevention use plastic bag.. usm also play arole to support people. this is good example for us. do not just can speak but must do and action..last but not least while we see that alot of conservation measure need a large amount people doing it. this is where the problem are arise. still do we need ti wait goverment to legislate and criminalise??/ we should think properly..
as a conclussion, last PBL make a good solution for me... as long as we are choosen to think about our earth..

RJ2 PBL3

Today is the date of our PBL3 presentation and all group give their full commitment while present. This is because the mark will be given due to this presentation. So, our group also do the same thing to collect more mark. For this PBL3 we need to present about the global warming and i think this is the current issues that people talk about. This is due to our environment now. While present we make our best to make sure our friends understand about our topic. We also encourage our friends to save our earth from this global warming. Not only government need to play their role but we ourselves also can take action to reduce the global warming. We can also save our earth either at home, residential college or our University. In other to reduce global warming we also can make a recycle campaign which is we need to collect several thing and throw to the recycle bin. So let us save our earth from global warming.

RJ2 PBL3 (GLOBAL WARMING)


We already finished for PBL3 about Global Warming. I noticed that this topic is important to everyone because as we already know the earth now become worst day by day. We as a students and also as a human should take serious for this problem to help save our earth. Not only goverment must take part to mentioned about this problem but we also must do that.  I realized that many ways and steps we can do to cure and solve this problem.  For example, the choices we make about energy and transportation are especially crucial, if we accept that global warming is a threat and resources are limited. It's all about responsible choices we make such as we can reduce the burning of fossil fuels by choosing to NOT drive, but to walk or ride a bike especially if it's not too far because it's good exercise and the same time also can minimize the amount of greenhouse gases. Beside, reduce dependency on fossil fuels and switch to other renewable energy sources and buy a car which used fuel more efficiently.  All these efforts on our part do not cause a lot of hardship but it can protect and save our earth. Based on this presentation, I was happy because I can share my informations that I found to other people. I also get informations from the other groups and learned more about this topic. So lastly, make energy conservation a part of our daily awareness is essential to the goal of reducing global warming.

i have talked about the marketing role to slow down the global warming. first point is the biodegradable material these are materials that are broken down through natural biological process. one of the research cover a wide range of activities is investigating method for the processing plant proteins to produce biodegradable materials to replace some petro-plastics. for the second point is polystyrene, type of polymer with themoplastics properties product from the petroleum deviced monomer and styrene. polystyrene is bad to environment because these products are made with petroleum, a non-sustainable, heavily polluting and disappearing commodity. to sloow down the global warming is used the unbleached paper biodegrades and its use avoids all the problem above.

Foundation English set 25 MY PERSONAL REFLECTION JOURNAL – PHASE 1 (PBL – module 2) NAME: MUHAMAD RAFI BIN AHMED SHUKOR ROLE: MEMBER What that I have learned today is about racial integration, this topic is about community in Malaysia like Malay, Chinese, and Indian. Madam Harieza has explained a lot of examples about racial integration issues to us, and after that, as usual we get task to do from her, but the problem do I still have is, I am not really understand to do it the article, and how can I upload the article to newpaces.com. The problem that I face is not to very important. The most important things is I must cooperate with my group members to complete the task, so after about a few minutes discussion, we divide our group into 3 pairs, and everybody choose their work and we do it in pairs. My plans for the next meeting is, I want get a feedback from afford that we have showed right now.

Foundation English set 25 MY PERSONAL REFLECTION JOURNAL – PHASE 2 (PBL – module 2) NAME: MUHAMAD RAFI BIN AHMED SHUKOR ROLE: MEMBER What have I learned today is skill to give good presentation; today we have a presentation about racial integration. Everybody has done their work very nicely. From my observation they have been prepared for this presentation very well. Every point which they all state and explained, almost I can understand. The question should I ask maybe about how to gain our self-confidence, because without strong self-confidence, we cannot doing work very-well. To be a better group member, I think I should work harder to give a good an opinion or ideas which make my group members believe in my fact or knowledge about any topic that we should to study. The plan for the next meeting is, I want try to settle my work as soon as possible, I don’t want to do work last minutes. Because work in last minutes is no quality and also can give bad result.
